Repair Department Policies
- We CANNOT accept antique or legacy machines in cabinets, they must be removed before drop-off.
- Please take all extra items home i.e., accessories, projects (unless its a sample), extra bobbins and manuals.
- We are responsible for items listed on check-in tickets. All other items left at drop off, are NOT OUR RESPONSIBLITY and we will NOT be held accountable for lost/damaged items not listed on check-in paperwork.
- Machines will be held for up 90 calendar days after initial contact upon completion of service. Machines left over that time period, will be charged a "storage fee" of $5 per day. If storage fees accrue to the labor cost, then the machine will be considered abandoned and sold in leu of repair bill.
- We do NOT accept the following brands for service: Viking, Huskavarna, Huskylock, Singer (except for model 221 "feather weight" and 201), and Janome.
- Please note we are a BABYLOCK dealership and service BABYLOCK sewing machines. If you have a Brother sewing machine, we are more than happy to service it, however, we do not have access to warranty parts.
- Warranty parts include: switches, solenoids, and electronic boards.
- This means we can clean, oil, make mechanical adjustments, and do LIMITED service program procedures. What this does NOT mean, is that newer Brother machines cannot get the full service that the authorized Brother dealership could provide you.
